I feel as if I’ve been spoilt recently. Listening to Michelle Obama’s reading her book, Becoming, Maya Angelou’s autobiography, The Heart of a Woman and the comedy drama of The Penny Dreadfuls Present: Le Carre on Spying has left me with a warm glow.
With Becoming and The Heart of a Woman I felt as if I was in their heads. I saw everything from their eyes. It really is the magic of radio that can do this.
The Penny Dreadfuls had me roaring with laughter as I sped down the M25. So much so, I kept on missing what my satnav was telling me! (I made my destination).
